#Introduction#

As a fundamental passive component, MLCCs are widely used in sectors such as consumer electronics and automotive applications. Currently, the market for MLCCs in AI servers is expanding rapidly, maintaining a compound annual growth rate of approximately 80%; furthermore, MLCCs have risen to become the third-largest cost item in the AI ​​server Bill of Materials (BOM), trailing only GPUs and memory chips.

While demand continues to surge, supply remains insufficient. Having previously summarized overseas MLCC companies, this article introduces 30 domestic MLCC enterprises; the companies listed below are not ranked in any particular order.

1. Guangdong Fenghua Advanced Technology (Holding) Co., Ltd.

Established in 1984, Guangdong Fenghua Advanced Technology (Holding) Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in fundamental electronic information products, including high-end new electronic components, electronic materials, and specialized electronic equipment. Currently, the company has mastered technologies for the homogeneous dispersion of barium titanate powders (sub-100 nm) and the tape casting of ultra-thin films (0.5 μm), as well as sintering technology for extreme high-capacitance MLCCs with over 1,000 layers.

  • In December 2021, an investment of RMB 7.5 billion was made to build a high-end capacitor production base at the Xianghe Industrial Park, adding a monthly capacity of 45 billion MLCCs. Phase I (5 billion units) reached full production capacity in 2021.

  • The Phase III project entered the trial production stage on March 1, 2023.

  • In December 2024, Fenghua Advanced Technology launched automotive-grade MLCC products combining high-temperature resistance, high capacitance, and high reliability.

  • Six high-end automotive-grade MLCC products have already passed certification by strategic customers.

2. Shenzhen Eyang Technology Development Co., Ltd.

Since its establishment in 2001, Shenzhen Eyang Technology Development Co., Ltd. has been dedicated to the R&D, production, and sales of electronic components. Eyang Technology has constructed industrial parks in Fenggang, Dongguan, and Chuzhou, Anhui, establishing a complete set of state-of-the-art MLCC production lines.

Current monthly production capacity stands at 35 billion units. Phase I of the Chuzhou project—designed for an annual output of 500 billion units—has already commenced production; the Dongyu Yang industrial and automotive-grade ceramic capacitor project is currently under construction, with a planned annual capacity of 220 billion units. MLCC product range: 008004–1210; products are utilized in electronic equipment such as industrial controls, 5G base stations, automotive electronics, and mobile devices.

3. Guangdong Weirong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.

Founded in 2017 and based in Luoding City, Guangdong Province, Weirong Technology specializes in MLCCs (Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors). As a leading Chinese manufacturer of high-end MLCCs, the company has rapidly ascended to the ranks of top-tier global MLCC suppliers. Weirong’s product portfolio focuses on automotive-grade and high-capacitance MLCCs—ranging in size from 008004 to 1210—serving sectors such as consumer electronics, automotive, telecommunications, and industry. The company has achieved manufacturing capabilities exceeding 1,200 layers and has developed ultra-high-capacitance products (such as 0805 100μF and 1206 220μF) as well as cutting-edge automotive-grade high-capacitance MLCCs (such as 1210 100μF/220μF).

Weirong Electronics' primary production base is located in Luoding, Yunfu, while the Dongguan facility focuses mainly on back-end processes. Currently, the company has a monthly production capacity of 35–40 billion units. With Phase I of the Luoding plant fully operational, monthly capacity will reach 60 billion units, rising to nearly 80 billion units following the completion of Phase II. Planning is currently underway for a Phase III "Lighthouse Factory" project; with a planned total investment of 5 billion yuan and a projected completion date of 2030, the project will push annual production capacity beyond 1.2 trillion units upon completion. Reportedly, the total planned investment for the Luoding Weirong Technology Park is 12 billion yuan, with a target of achieving an annual MLCC production capacity of 1.5 trillion units by around 2028.

On April 28, 2026, Weirong Technology's application for an IPO on the ChiNext board was accepted; the company plans to raise RMB 1.675 billion to fund projects such as the expansion of high-end MLCC production capacity.

4. Chaozhou Three-Circle (Group) Co., Ltd.

Chaozhou Three-Circle (Group) Co., Ltd. was established in 1970 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2014 (Stock Code: 300408); it subsequently listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 9, 2026 (Stock Code: 06951.HK). The company is a comprehensive enterprise dedicated to the R&D, production, and sales of products such as basic electronic materials, electronic components, and communication devices. Three-Circle Group utilizes its own proprietary powders and pastes, and its current MLCC offerings include products suitable for 48V power systems in AI applications.

Three-Circle Group began the R&D and production of MLCCs as early as 2000. Its MLCC portfolio spans all sizes from 0201 to 2225 and includes various products with diverse temperature characteristics, finding wide application in fields such as consumer electronics, home appliances, power supplies, lighting, communications, and automotive electronics.

  • In 2020, a technical upgrade project for expanding the production of high-quality MLCCs for 5G communications was launched using raised funds; planned for an annual output of 240 billion units, the project was implemented by Chaozhou Three-Circle and Nanchong Three-Circle and has since reached full production capacity.

  • In 2021, another MLCC capacity expansion project funded by raised capital was initiated to add an annual capacity of 300 billion units; this project is being implemented by Nanchong Three-Circle and Deyang Three-Circle. The Deyang Three-Circle MLCC project is expected to be completed and put into operation in the first half of 2023.

  • As of May 2025, Three-Circle (Group) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Deyang Three-Circle Technology Co., Ltd., have completed the opening of a dedicated account for the new raised funds; this account is designated for the investment project titled "High-Capacity Series Multilayer Chip Ceramic Capacitor (MLCC) Capacity Expansion Project."

  • As of March 2026, Three-Circle Group has achieved mass production of MLCC products across the full range of package sizes, from 01005 to 2220.

5. Beijing Yuanliu Hongyuan Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.

Established in 2001, Hongyuan Electronics specializes in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of electronic components such as ceramic capacitors and filters, ranking among my country's leading manufacturers of high-reliability multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). Its product portfolio includes chip MLCCs, leaded MLCCs, and metal-bracket MLCCs. The company was listed on the A-share Main Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2019 (Stock Code: 603267).

Hongyuan Electronics possesses comprehensive technology spanning the entire production process—from ceramic powder formulation to finished MLCC products—and has developed core technologies covering material development, product design, manufacturing processes, and reliability assurance. Its products are widely used in sectors such as aerospace, aviation, marine engineering, defense, electronic information, industrial electronics, and new energy. The company's Suzhou production base commenced operations in December 2021, adding an annual production capacity of 2 billion MLCC units.

6. Suzhou Yunzhong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.

Suzhou Yunzhong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2013 and is primarily engaged in the R&D, design, manufacturing, and sales of components for the optical sector, as well as products in fields such as automotive electronics and optoelectronic semiconductors.

  • In 2021, Yunzhong Technology announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chizhou Yunzhong Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., would invest in a multi-layer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) project. The company plans to build a production base for MLCCs in Chizhou City, Anhui Province, with a total planned investment of RMB 1.124 billion. Upon reaching full production capacity, the project will achieve an annual output of 72 billion MLCC units. Technologies accumulated from existing projects—such as laser processing, surface treatment, physical measurement, and material evaluation—are being applied to the MLCC project, alongside the introduction of new technologies like ceramic slurry preparation and sintering.

  • In 2025, Chizhou Gyzet achieved mass production of 0805-package, 10μF high-capacitance MLCCs.

  • In 2026, Xuancheng Yunhai—a subsidiary of Chizhou Gyzet—commenced operations. Focusing on MLCC back-end processes, Xuancheng Yunhai handles key stages such as product testing, visual inspection, and testing/packaging.

  • In July 2026, Chizhou Gyzet’s high-performance MLCC project, with a total investment of RMB 1.5 billion, was established in the Wanjiang Jiangnan Emerging Industry Concentration Zone.

7. Sunway Electronic Technology (Yiyang) Co., Ltd.

As a leading global supplier of RF components, Sunway also offers a comprehensive range of standard passive components, including resistors, capacitors, and inductors. Leveraging the Group's global R&D platforms for fundamental materials and manufacturing processes, Sunway is dedicated to the development and production of high-quality, diverse MLCC product lines. The company possesses specialized expertise in high-capacitance (MH series: voltage ≤50V, capacitance ≥1.0μF), automotive-grade, high-voltage, high-Q, and soft-termination MLCCs.

Sunway Electronic Technology (Yiyang) Co., Ltd. was established in June 2021. The project involves a total investment exceeding RMB 20 billion, covers an area of ​​approximately 1,168 mu (approx. 78 hectares), and includes 1.3 million square meters of factory facilities. Developed in two phases, the project held its grand opening and production launch ceremony on October 31, 2023, marking the completion and operational launch of the Japan-Korea R&D Center. Two types of 150nm high-capacitance MLCC products—addressing critical supply-chain bottlenecks—have successfully entered mass production. Additionally, the first batch of seven high-capacitance MLCC models has been successfully developed, commercialized, and put into mass production. Currently, equipment capable of producing 4 billion units per month has been fully installed and commissioned, enabling small-batch production; upon reaching full capacity, the project will achieve an output of 120 billion units per month.

Key products include the MC series (general-purpose), MH series (high-capacitance), MV series (medium-to-high voltage), MQ series (high-frequency), MA series (automotive-grade), and MS series (soft-termination) capacitors, available in sizes ranging from 01005 to 1210. These products serve application sectors such as consumer electronics, industrial equipment, base stations, automotive electronics, and lighting.

On July 14, 2026, Sunway Communication will increase its equity stake in Yiyang Electronic Technology from 15% to 70%, further strengthening its strategic positioning in the high-end MLCC business.

8. Fujian Torch Electron Technology Co., Ltd.

Founded in 1989, Fujian Torch Electron Technology Co., Ltd. has consistently focused on the R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service of ceramic capacitors. The company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in January 2015 (Stock Code: 603678).

Torch Electron’s MLCC products range primarily from sizes 0201 to 2225 and are widely used in high-end sectors such as aviation, aerospace, marine engineering, telecommunications, electric power, rail transit, and new energy.

  • The "High-Reliability Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor Production Base" project, funded by the 2015 capital raise, added an annual capacity of 900 million units and officially commenced production in June 2017;

  • The "Small-Sized, Thin-Dielectric-Layer Ceramic Capacitor" project, funded by the 2019 capital raise, added a capacity of 8.4 billion units per year, with certain product series already reaching their planned production capacity;

  • In December 2022, Torch Electron established Chengdu Torch to integrate resources in Southwest China, explore new sectors for electronic components, build a technology platform, and achieve industrial implementation.

  • Upon reaching full production, the annual capacity will total 9.8 billion units.

9. Chengdu Hongming Electronics Co., Ltd.

The company's products are widely used in sectors such as aerospace, aviation, marine engineering, oil exploration, medical technology, telecommunications, and automotive electronics.

Suining Hongming Huaci Technology Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Sichuan Huaci Technology Co., Ltd.), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chengdu Hongming Electronics Co., Ltd., was established on December 25, 2017; the company is primarily engaged in the R&D, production, and sales of multilayer chip ceramic capacitors for industrial and civil applications.

Key products include MLCC series such as small-size, open-mode, low-voltage, medium-to-high voltage, soft-termination, and high-Q types; these products are applied in telecommunications, home appliances, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, industrial control, and lighting.

The Phase I project in Suining reached full production capacity in 2019, with an annual output of 3.6 billion units. Expansion for the Phase II project is currently underway, with phased trial production scheduled to begin in October 2023; upon reaching full capacity, this phase will add 60 billion units to the annual MLCC production capacity. Future phased plans involve a total investment of 5 billion RMB, targeting a final annual MLCC production capacity of 720 billion units.

10. Zhuzhou Hongda Electronics Corp., Ltd.

In 2017, the production capacity for ceramic capacitors reached 15 million units. In 2021, the company raised funds through a private placement to invest in a microwave electronic component production base project, adding an annual capacity of 2 billion ceramic capacitors—comprising 1.9 billion multilayer chip ceramic capacitors and 100 million single-layer chip ceramic capacitors per year. The project has entered the partial trial production stage, with mass production expected to begin in the second half of 2023.

As a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the end-to-end R&D, manufacturing, and sales of high-end ceramic capacitors, the company is dedicated to providing customers with high-performance and highly reliable products.

The company's current core products include RF/microwave multilayer ceramic capacitors (RF/microwave MLCCs) and RF/microwave single-layer ceramic capacitors (RF/microwave SLCCs). In 2021, its standardized production capacity reached approximately 1.58 billion units (calculated based on a standard 0603-size, 13-layer product). Dalicap invested in and constructed a high-end electronic component industrialization project in the Jinpu New Area of ​​Dalian City; the project covers a total land area of ​​40,000 square meters and a total building area of ​​56,000 square meters, with an annual production capacity of 3 billion RF/microwave ceramic capacitors. Established in July 2020, Jiangsu Xinsheng Microelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). Its manufacturing facility is located in the Huai'an Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, covering an area of ​​over 25,000 square meters.

The company focuses on high-capacitance, high-voltage, and automotive-grade MLCC products. Its product portfolio spans sizes from 01005 to 1210, with MLCC stacking capabilities reaching up to 920 layers.

  • A monthly production capacity of 2 billion capacitors is set to be established by the first half of 2022.

  • Upon reaching full capacity, the Phase II expansion will yield a monthly output of 36 billion units.

  • Construction has commenced on the Jingdezhen Xinsheng Micro project, which targets an annual output of 360 billion MLCCs.

  • The Xinsheng Advanced Ceramics project involves a Phase I investment of 1 billion RMB; its three Phase I production lines are already capable of mass-producing various MLCC series, including automotive- and industrial-grade, miniature high-capacitance, and high-voltage models. A further 1 billion RMB will be invested in Phase II to add six production lines, bringing the total annual capacity to over 150 billion units once fully operational.

13. Guangzhou Chuangtian Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.

Guangzhou Chuangtian Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. was established in December 2003 as an innovative high-tech enterprise integrating the R&D and production of novel electronic components and materials. In June 2022, the company successfully completed a Series C funding round, raising several hundred million yuan; the round was led by the SDIC Chuanghe Civil-Military Integration Development Fund, with co-investment from the Guoding Kechuang Fund and others.

The company primarily manufactures multilayer ceramic chip capacitors, RF (high-Q) ceramic capacitors, single-layer chip capacitors, ceramic thin-film circuits, multilayer chip varistors, and ESD suppressors; it also supplies customers with electronic components such as thick-film chip resistors and thick-film chip resistor networks. Its products are widely used in sectors including aviation, aerospace, marine engineering, and defense, supporting projects involving missiles, radar, communications, security systems, and telemetry/remote control.

In 2013, the company established Hubei Tianci to produce basic powders—such as electronic-grade high-purity nano-titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, strontium carbonate, and nano-barium titanate—as well as specialized electronic ceramic powders like high-end formulated ceramic powders, thereby achieving in-house production of raw materials.

14 Guangdong Fenghua Bangke Electronics Co., Ltd.

Established in 2003, Guangdong Fenghua Bangke Electronics Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and sales of high-reliability, high-performance electronic components and materials.

The company's primary products include chip resistors, chip capacitors, leaded capacitors, varistors, chip inductors, and wire-wound inductors. These products are widely used in high-end electronic sectors such as broadcasting and television, telecommunications, computing, and home appliances.

Fenghua Bangke has established 11 specialized production lines, achieving an annual output of over 3 billion electronic components.

The company is investing 250 million yuan to build a production base for specialized, next-generation electronic components with an annual capacity of 21.6 billion units (comprising 14.4 billion MLCCs, 2.4 billion chip inductors, and 4.8 billion chip resistors); the facility has been fully topped out, and official production is scheduled to commence in February 2024.

15. Jiangsu Zhenhua Xinyun Electronic Co., Ltd.

Established in 2016, Jiangsu Zhenhua Xinyun Electronics Co., Ltd. serves as a key production base for China Zhenhua (Group) Xinyun Electronic Components Co., Ltd. in the Yangtze River Delta region. The company specializes in the design, development, manufacturing, sales, and service of tantalum electrolytic capacitors, conductive polymer tantalum electrolytic capacitors, conductive polymer chip aluminum capacitors, and specialty MLCCs.

The product lineup includes HQ (High-Q) and HV (High-Voltage) series specialty ceramic capacitors.

Manufactured on the first domestic intelligent automated wet-process production line; HQ models feature a Q-factor ≥ 10,000; HV models offer high rated voltage (12 kV) and long service life (1,000 hours at 125°C). These are non-polarized, rectangular capacitors available with various terminal configurations and a standardized range of sizes, including 5764, 9797, 92102, and 203152.

16. Shaanxi Huaxing Xinrong Technology Co., Ltd.

Shaanxi Huaxing Electronic Group Co., Ltd. is a modern corporate entity established through restructuring in 2010. Its predecessor was the State-owned Huaxing Radio Components Factory (State-owned Factory No. 795), originally designed and built in 1958 as one of the three major electronic component production bases established by the state in the 1950s; the company is currently a subsidiary of Shaanxi Electronic Information Group Co., Ltd.

Shaanxi Huaxing Electronic Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shaanxi Huaxing Electronic Group, comprises a Capacitor Division and an Aluminum-based Substrate Division. It operates an MLCC production line with an annual output capacity of 2,000 tons of capacitors and microwave ceramic powders, 3 billion ceramic capacitor semi-finished units, 300 million finished ceramic capacitors, and 300,000 square meters of aluminum-based copper-clad laminates. Its multilayer ceramic chip capacitor (MLCC) product specifications include 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206, 1210, 1812, and 2225.

Its subsidiary, Shaanxi Huaxing Xinrong Technology Co., Ltd., is developing an industrialization project for high-performance miniature chip capacitors (MLCCs).

The industrialization project for advanced electronic functional ceramic materials and key basic components commenced in March 2021. Upon completion, the project will have an annual production capacity of 1,000 tons of novel electronic functional ceramic materials, 120 million multilayer chip capacitors, and 100 million quartz crystal devices. Small-batch production is currently underway.

17. Lihexing Electronic Components (Jiangmen) Co., Ltd.

Lihexing Electronic Components (Jiangmen) Co., Ltd. was established on December 7, 2020, as a second-tier subsidiary of Shenzhen Lihexing Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 301013). The company plans to invest RMB 250 million to launch a business focused on multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs).

  • On November 24, 2021, Lihexing Electronic Components commenced trial production;

  • In March 2022, the company entered the small-batch production stage;

  • Lihexing Electronic Components primarily manufactures MLCCs, with product specifications including the 0603, 0805, and 1206 series. Based on standard product specifications, the rated annual production capacity is 20 billion units. Future development will focus on high-value-added medium-to-high voltage products and high-frequency microwave products.

18. Hunan Aidiao Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.

Established in October 2010, Hunan Aidiao Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise primarily engaged in the R&D, production, and sales of magnetic material products and multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs).

Aidiao established its MLCC business unit in 2019, officially entering the chip capacitor sector. Its MLCC product portfolio includes high-Q, medium-to-high voltage, and high-capacitance series.

The products are widely used in sectors such as 5G communications, new energy and automotive electronics, industrial equipment, medical and healthcare, consumer electronics and home appliances, and aerospace.

Construction of the R&D and manufacturing base project—designed for an annual output of 100 billion key electronic components—commenced in February 2023.

Guangdong Xinju Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2004, is a modern high-tech electronics enterprise integrating development, research, and sales.

The company specializes in the R&D, production, and sales of microelectronic products, including chip multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs), chip high-voltage/high-Q ceramic capacitors, chip multilayer varistors (MLCVs), chip thick/thin-film fixed resistors, microwave single-layer capacitors, ceramic thin-film circuits, and ceramic heat sinks.
