Qingdao Proton Power Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Proton Power") is a high-tech enterprise specializing in hydrogen energy—specifically SOEC/SOFC technologies and green hydrogen projects. The company is engaged in the R&D and industrialization of the entire SOEC/SOFC value chain—covering cells, stacks, and systems—and pursues the synergistic development of SOFC technology while prioritizing the advancement of SOEC technology.

Drawing on years of technical expertise, the Proton Power team has established a strong foundation in the hydrogen energy sector. They have mastered core technologies such as 20x20cm SOFC single cells and 5kW single stacks, SOEC-specific cells and stacks, and reversible SOEC/SOFC stacks. With extensive experience in building SOFC/SOEC demonstration systems, the company has collaborated on technology and demonstration projects with major state-owned enterprises, including the State Grid, CGN, CNPC, Dongfang Electric, and Datang Group. Between 2020 and 2025, the company successfully delivered multiple SOEC and SOFC systems ranging from the kilowatt to the tens-of-kilowatts scale, achieving performance metrics that lead the domestic industry.

Since its inception, Proton Power has experienced steady and rapid growth, establishing a strategic layout that spans three locations and covers the entire industry chain: the Beijing office handles overall project solution design, strategy, and business operations; the Qingdao facility focuses on the R&D and production of upstream SOEC/SOFC cells and stacks; and the Xuzhou facility is responsible for the R&D and production of downstream high-power SOEC/SOFC systems. As of July 2026, the company holds 44 authorized patents and 4 software copyrights.

Modular Skid-Mounted SOEC Hydrogen Production System

[Product Features]

Features a modular, skid-mounted design; the system is compact, has a small footprint, and significantly reduces on-site installation and construction work. Hydrogen production capacity can be flexibly designed and adjusted. Supports external waste heat integration; in scenarios utilizing industrial waste heat or solar thermal energy, hydrogen production via thermal-electric coupling results in lower electricity consumption.

SOFC Power Generation System Fueled by Low-Concentration Coal Mine Gas

[Product Features]

Designed for clean, high-efficiency power generation using low-concentration coal mine gas, this system utilizes SOFC electrochemical reactions to directly convert the chemical energy of (ultra-)low-concentration gas (CH₄ concentration ~30%) into electrical energy. It achieves a power generation efficiency exceeding 45%, prevents the greenhouse effect caused by low-concentration gas emissions, and overcomes the technical limitations—such as low efficiency and high pollution—associated with existing internal combustion engine-based power generation methods for this type of gas.

Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) system for low-concentration gas (CH₄ ~30%): power output ≥5 kW, power generation efficiency ≥45%, and comprehensive energy utilization efficiency ≥75%.

T-Series Bidirectional Testing System for SOEC/SOFC Cells

[Product Features]

Features a modular design with a compact footprint, high automation, and ease of operation. It integrates material management, temperature monitoring, electrochemical testing, and safety monitoring and management. Equipped with an independent gas distribution unit and an automatic pressurization system, it accommodates various cell specifications and enables performance testing of single cells in both SOEC and SOFC modes.

[Key Specifications]

Maximum power output is 300W in SOFC mode, and maximum electrolysis power input is 300W in SOEC mode. The maximum clamping force is 500N, and the electric furnace is rated for temperatures up to 1000°C.

T-Series SOEC/SOFC Stack Bidirectional Testing System

[Product Features]

Features a modular design with a compact footprint, high automation, and ease of operation. It integrates material management, temperature monitoring, electrochemical testing, and safety monitoring/management. Equipped with an independent gas distribution system and an automatic pressurization unit, it is capable of testing SOEC/SOFC stacks of various configurations.

[Key Specifications]

Maximum power output of 5 kW in SOFC mode; maximum electrolysis power of 10 kW in SOEC mode. Maximum clamping force of 10,000 N; furnace temperature rating of 1,000°C.
