The 2nd Research Institute of CETC was founded in 1962 as a national institute specializing in electronic process equipment. Over more than fifty years it has built deep experience in mechatronic, thermal and optical design. In recent years it has obtained more than fifty national patents and established particular strengths in microelectronics assembly equipment, LCD production equipment, vacuum soldering equipment, and cleaning and surface-treatment equipment. As a contractor for MOST 863 Program and NDRC industrialization projects, many of its products have been listed in the National Key New Product Program and the National Torch Program, and are exported to Japan, the United States and other markets. Guided by the goal of becoming a domestic leader in electronic process equipment, the institute is committed to serving customers and advancing China's electronic equipment industry.
