The company is engaged in the R&D and industrialization of the entire value chain, spanning SOEC/SOFC cells, stacks, and systems. Leveraging years of technical expertise, the Proton Power team has established a strong foundation in the hydrogen energy sector. They have mastered core technologies such as 20x20cm SOFC single cells and 5kW single stacks, SOEC-specific cells and stacks, and reversible SOEC/SOFC stack technology. With extensive experience in building SOFC/SOEC demonstration systems, the company has collaborated on technology and demonstration projects with major state-owned enterprises, including the State Grid, CGN, CNPC, Dongfang Electric, and Datang Group. Between 2020 and 2025, the company successfully delivered multiple SOEC and SOFC systems ranging from the kilowatt to the tens-of-kilowatts scale, achieving performance metrics that lead the domestic industry. Since its inception, Proton Power has experienced steady and rapid growth, establishing a strategic layout that spans three locations and covers the entire industry chain: the Beijing office handles overall project solution design, strategy, and business operations; the Qingdao facility focuses on the R&D and production of upstream SOEC/SOFC cells and stacks; and the Xuzhou facility is responsible for the R&D and production of downstream high-power SOEC/SOFC systems.
